January's comic and item list

Meiji Potifull Jelly Bean Mix (Meiji Poifull): I've received something like this in a different subscription box. But I enjoyed it!

Morinaga Lemon Hi-Chew: I've received this in September's Japan Crate.

Morinaga Keroppi Kawaii Cookies: In my opinion, I would eat this if you have no other snacks. There really isn't much flavor to it.

Mini Assorted Chocolate (Chiroru Choco 9-Ren): I think the description is incorrect? The sticker on the back says "Chocolate Cracker." There isn't four flavors but two: Milk Chocolate Biscuits and Strawberry Jelly (top half is strawberry flavored chocolate, bottom half is milk chocolate, and in the center is a strawberry jelly).

Meiji Milk Chocolate: I'm really excited to try this since I never tried it! I want MORE! This tastes better than a Hershey bar.

Horadekita Chocobanana DIY: I received this in November's Japan Crate.

Berry Carnival Pocky (Glico Berry Carnival Pocky): Wow. Berry and Acai flavor... this is a first! I'm so use to seeing regular chocolate flavor, so this will be interesting to try. Edit: This tastes like Strawberry Pocky.

Meiji Burger DIY (Yataimen Hanbagayasan): I thought it was like the previous burger DIY I received, but this is just gummy flavored. The breads (crackers) tasted stale, and the ketchup sauce tasted funny to me. I did like the lettuce and cheese gummy though.

Meiji Sushi Mini DIY (Meiji Niginigi Osushiyasan Gummy): This is like the Meiji Cake Fruit Gummy from October's Crate. Just peel the topping and place it onto the rice. The rice is banana flavored, the red part is apple flavored, and yellow is lemon flavored.

Kabaya Juicy Grape Soda Tablets: I have tried something like this. In September's Japan Crate, I received the ramune flavor.

Red Champagne Ramune Drink: Hopefully this will taste better than the strawberry flavor.

Overall: I think Japan Crate is clearing out their remaining inventory, so maybe that's why there were some repeats.

If you've subscribed to Japan Crate, what do you think of the snacks this month? What are your opinions on Japan Crate returning to its uniform crates?

January's item list

Here are the items inside the box:

From left to right:
Strawberry Pocky

Star Kirby Bubble Gum (Soda flavored)

Nameko Biscuits (Butter biscuits)

Sakusaku Panda Cookies: I love these chocolate biscuits. I always buy boxes of them whenever I have time to go to the store. :D

From left to right:
Green Tea Kit Kat (x2): Been getting a lot of green tea flavored ones. It's not a bad thing, but I would like to try different flavors.

Shrimp Mayo Umaibo (Puffed Corn Snack): Oh man, these are great. I bought a variety of flavors from Japan and finished it, so I'm glad to eat this flavor again!

Bakauke Fried Sesame (Rice Cracker): This rice cracker tastes very like the one

Potato Chip Sticks (Nori & Salt Seasoning)

Overall: For the first box of the year, this is a great start off! Much better than last's month (which I did not review, it was... a disappointment imo).
