Loot Crate May 2014 Subscription Box Review - "Adventure"

Disclosure: This post contains referral links.

Lootcrate is a monthly geek and gamer subscription box, and for less than $20 a month, you can get 6-8 geek and gamer items (valuing $40+ in retail price), varying from t-shirts, snacks, toys, and more!

Cost: $19.37 (per month)
Ships to: Canada, U.K., Australia, and the U.S.

Ships via: USPS (For me, it took six days to ship)

Let's move onto the box, shall we?

This month's theme is "Adventure". LootCrate wanted to celebrate heroes, companions, exploration and the revered franchises that truly evoke the spirit of ADVENTURE.

First look

Usually, Loot Crate gives a physical copy of a book indicating items included for the month. For this month, Loot Crate gave subscribers a digital copy.

Here are the items inside the box:

Legend of Zelda (Link) T-shirt

Describing The Legend (Value $19.99): Although I'm not a fan of Legend of Zelda, I would still wear it whenever I'm out.

Finn (left) and Ice King (right)
Broken arm! (Left), Bottom of Ice King (Right)

Adventure Time Tins (Value $6.67): I think the Finn tin is great, but the Ice King? It looked poorly made and the Ice King's right arm shortly broke after! Also, look at the bottom of the Ice King.

Minecraft Hanger (Value $6.00): Yes! I got the iron sword. I think it's the best hanger out of the ten.

Curator Stickerset / Markiplier Tats / Captain Sparklez Stickers (Value $1.00 each): These are items made from YouTubers. I have not heard of them, so I will not using them.

The Friend Zone Soundtrack (Value $10.99): Since I have not heard of The Friend Zone, I will not be opening this. I took a listen on YouTube, and all the tracks sound adventurous! (Hence the theme, haha)

Dangerous To Go Alone Opener and Button (Value $3 for the opener and $1 for the button) : The button is a monthly collectible and the bottle opener will be useful, especially in the summer! :)

Overall: I like this box (except for the broken arm! :(), but I like how there was a variety of items. This month's box value is $50.65. For my first box, I feel that I got my $40 worth of items!
