First look

+...

Here are the items inside the box:

August 2014 issue

TMNT Full Figure (Value of $10.00): I'm not a fan of The Mutant Ninja Turtles, but hey! It glows in the dark!

Funko POP! Groot Exclusive (Value of $11.99): I AM GROOT! Horray for a Guardians of the Galaxy! If I had to get another one, I would love to get Rocket Raccoon.

TMNT Mask Glasses (Value of $6.50): I tried these on, and boy did I look ridiculous in it!

Shoe Lightning Bolts (Value of $8.95): An item from The Flash! I'll probably use them during Halloween. (:

Mega Man Air Fresheners: I don't have a car (yet), but SOON I will! I wonder what the Sonic one smells like. I would prefer cool fresh (assuming it's mint) than apple cinnamon.

Magnet (2x3.5): A Deadpool item! The magnet reminds me of Kellogg's, haha.

August's 2014 Button

Bonus Digital Loot (Value of $5.00?): Given by Loot Crate, we are given exclusive codes to 11 Doctors, Defense Grid: The Awakening, and Gauntlet. I may use the Doctor Who code, the others, I'm not interested.

Overall:
I enjoyed this month's Loot Crate! Especially after receiving Groot! :D

One last look at the box!

Ships to: U.S.

Ships via: USPS (It took me 4-5 business days). OishiiBox is shipped and delivered within the first two weeks of the month.

Let's move onto the box, shall we?

First look

This month's box is smaller than July's, but there are full sized snacks ! There was no monthly card included in the box.

Here are the items inside the box:

Oreo Soft Cookies: Meh. This cookie was alright. It's green tea flavored and when I opened it, it looked like a whoopie pie.

Rice Crackers: These tasted really fried and salty.

KitKat: It smelled like coffee when I opened it O:. But I believe this is white chocolate flavored? Either way, I enjoyed it.

Poifull: A Meiji product! These are sour jelly beans in four different flavors: Grape, passion fruit, lemon, and raspberry.

Hello Kitty Biscuits with Chocolate Cream: These are basically like Meiji's Yan Yan. Still delicious!

Pretz Fried: I've never tried Pretz from Thailand, and wow. These aren't bad! Reminds me of the fried bread used in porridge.

Pretz Pizza: Another product from Thailand. You can smell the pizza flavor when you take a piece out. I'm pretty sure the Asian markets around my area doesn't sell these. The closest flavor I can relate to is the tomato flavored Pretz.

Overall: (Oh no, I forgot to take picture of everything together! D: I was really tempted to eat them after I took the photos) Although the box is a lot smaller this month, I enjoyed that we got some full sized snacks!

If you've subscribed to OishiiBox, what are your opinions? Which snacks are your favorite?

Loot Crate July 2014 Subscription Box Review - "Villains"

Disclaimer: This post contains referral links.

Loot Crate is a monthly geek and gamer subscription box, and for less than $20 a month, you can get 6-8 geek and gamer items (valuing $40+ in retail price), varying from t-shirts, snacks, toys, and more!

July LootCrate Box

Cost: $19.37 (per month)
Ships to: Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, U.K., and the U.S.

Ships via: USPS (It took me about 4 business days)

Let's move onto the box, shall we?

This month's theme is "Villains." According to the book: "...we curated what we believe to be a legendary homage to the baddies that everyone loves to hate. Though some of us actually just plain love the bad guys, the villains, the scoundrels. And why not? Fictional characters on the other side of the hero coin typically have the most complex and interesting backstories, sidekicks and tactics."

First look

Here are the items inside the box:

July 2014 booklet

Deadpool Socks (Value $4.50?): YAY! DEADPOOL LONG SOCKS! There's just one down side to this...

Joki Villain T Shirt (Value $15.00?): A combination of Loki and the Joker. At first glance, I assumed it was the Joker, because of his face, not until I looked at the booklet.

Harley Quinn and Joker Posters (Value $5.00?): The posters are AWESOME. The Joker one is pretty frightening, but I LOVE the Harley Quinn's one.

Exclusive Rocket Raccoon Comic (Value $3.99): It's an exclusive Guardians of the Galaxy comic! Included, there is a code, to redeem infinite marvel comics (digital)! Rocket is sure wanted in the comic...

Necessary Evil DVD (Value $5.99): This is a documentary of villains of the DC Universe. I don't know if I will open this, since you can basically find any audio on the internet.

Darth Vader Key Chain (Value $5.36) : Yes! Death Vader definitely needed to be in this box. One of the two that is not Marvel or DC related.

Bowser Magnet 3x3 (Value $2.00?): Another that is not related to Marvel or DC. I really needed another magnet! All my magnets on my fridge were taken away by my relative! D:

July 2014 Button (Value $1.00?)

Overall: I got my $40 worth of items! I really enjoy the posters and magnet, and I'll definitely be wearing the JOKI T shirt.

And have one final look of the inside!

Ships via: USPS (It took me 5-7 business days)

Let's move onto the box, shall we?

First look

Here are the items inside the box:

French Vanilla Almond Granola: I really enjoy this one! I could eat this whole bag. Definitely would eat this with yogurt.

Mango Orange Fruit Chews: You can definitely taste the mango orange. At first bite, it might be weird (tastes a bit hard), but as you keep chewing into it, it's actually good.

Honey Crunch Crisps: Another one I enjoy! They taste like crispy wontons, but sweeter.

Garden Tomato Crunchies: I also enjoy this one! These tomato flavored almonds... delicious! To have a better taste of the garden tomato, eat a bunch of them.

BBQ Kettle Kernels: This would be my least favorite bag. You would have to eat a lot at once to taste the barbeque flavor. Otherwise, the kernals are really crunchy and there's not much flavor to it.

Overall: For $20, each bag costs $4, not bad! I hope to try other snacks (hopefully they're not gone!)

Did you subscribe to NatureBox? What snacks did you choose for this month? What are your favorite snacks? Least?

Mario Kart Racers ($8.99): I got Toad!

Doctor Who Vinyl Figure ($12.99): I was excited when I found out Nerd Block had a Doctor Who item in this box! I was hoping for one of the special ones, or the ninth or tenth doctor, but eleven is still great!

Nerd Block Pin Art ($5.00?): This one is interesting. I've seen a video similar to this, and wow. I tested it out using the eleventh doctor!

Eleventh doctor

Pin Art Game

Testing the pin art!

The Iron Sentinel and Who You Gonna Call? Shirts ($15.00? each): Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS! Usually, Nerd Block gives one shirt every month, but for this month, they gave two! Both of these shirts are great! Nerd Block shirts run a bit larger (compared to Loot Crate).

Overall: This box's value is close to $60. That's double the amount I paid for!

Description of the items

Dried Montmorency Cherries (Value of $1.17 for 1 oz bag) by Stoneridge Orchards

Tropical Fruit Snacks* (Value of $1.00 for .7 oz bag) by YumEarth Organics: Out of the three flavors, I only enjoyed Mango. Pineapple was meh, and the raspberry flavor was just bad. The texture is different too; chewy and a bit hard.

Cheddar Baked Fries (Value of $0.79 for 1 oz bag) by Snikiddy: These tastes great! Reminds me of Andy Capp's Cheddar Fries.

Chicago Mix Popped Corn (Value of $1.10 for 1.5 oz bag) by G. H. Cretors: Another great bag! Great combination of cheese and caramel popcorn.

The Snapback Cookie (Value of $1.50 for 1.5 oz cookie) by The Cookie Department: I didn't like this at all. The cookie is chewy, but the taste. The cayenne pepper was really strong.

Chocolate-Filled Cookies (Value of $0.75 for 0.7 oz bag) by Dulcetto: I just wished there was more in the bag ): They were good.

Individually Wrapped Gum Balls (Value of $0.23 for one gum ball) by Tree Hugger Gum

Good for You Granola, Almond Butter & Jelly Sandwich (Value of $1.87 for 1.63 oz bag) by Jolly Oak

Coupons

Overall: This box is not bad! I liked most of the items, sweet and salty. Since this was my first box, I only paid $2. The box's value is about $8.50, so for this month, it's worth the $2! I hope to see more great snacks!

What are your favorite snacks for June's Love With Food?

Finn (left) and Ice King (right)

Broken arm! (Left), Bottom of Ice King (Right)

Adventure Time Tins (Value $6.67): I think the Finn tin is great, but the Ice King? It looked poorly made and the Ice King's right arm shortly broke after! Also, look at the bottom of the Ice King.

Minecraft Hanger (Value $6.00): Yes! I got the iron sword. I think it's the best hanger out of the ten.
