Japan Crate is a monthly Asian snack subscription box. Depending on your box, Japan Crate will send you at least two pounds of Japanese snacks, including one or more DIY kit(s)!

Ships to: All around the world. (Free shipping in the U.S. / $15 shipping fee internationally)
Ships via: USPS. Japan Crate ships on the 5th of every month. (My box was two days late, but Japan Crate notified everyone that the boxes were delayed). 
So Japan Crate has implemented a new system of Candy Gashapon, starting with this month's box. Everyone would be receiving random sets of goods from a pool of 20+ items. Japan Crate also plans to open an online store to purchase previous crates too!
I'm not sure if I like the idea of random goods... it would be nice if we were notified about the new idea.

Here are the items inside the box:
Nerunerunerune ("Kracie" Nerunerune Budou-Aji): Very simple DIY. Well, it was fun mixing, but it didn't taste that good. But the rocks were good.
Chocobanana DIY (Candy Hora Dekita Choco Banana Soft Candy): Another simple DIY. The chocolate was good... but the bananas? Best to eat the chocolate and sprinkles.

Icebar DIY (Hora Dekita Ice Bar Soft Candy): And another simple DIY. Just stab a stick into the pieces.
Black Black Gum: I received a hard candy version of this in a previous box.
Puccho Miracle: It's like a Hi-Chew candy, but there's a jelly like pieces in the middle.
Strawberry Ramune: No. It tasted bad. The original flavor is the best. D:
Calbee (Potato Chip Mentai Cheese) Bonus item (?): Tastes pretty good! I'm glad I get the chance to try this, since I usually eat the spicy flavored one!
Overall: I'm disappointed with this month's box. This month's box was not worth the $30 I paid. Even the mini box for this month and the previous months were much better, in my opinion. According to the list and site, it says I would receive 10-14 items, but I only received 8 (I count KitKat as 1. I don't see why I would count them as three).
I understand Japan Crate is still fairly new, and they are trying hard to meet customer's satisfaction due to a huge surge of new subscribers, so I'll stick around.

November was my first month of subscribing to Japan Crate. I thought the ideas were OK. For example, the drink and green tea kit kat bars, I could have gotten at an Asian supermarket. The chips are something I've tasted when I visited Hong Kong, so I wasn't too impressed with that. I haven't try the other items, but honestly, I'm not sure I want to.
